Sitting at work mad that it is sooooo beautiful outside and I’m staring at my computer. I figured I would compile a list of words that make me cringe…
1. Discharge-the word itself is just eeww. Even in the context of “discharging a gun” it just makes me cringe.
2. Crusty-now, not so much in a “crusty bread” context, but when I hear the word, I can’t help but think of the crust around the top of a mustard bottle or something.
3. Boobies-I don’t know why, I hate this word. I’ll giggle when St. Adelaide the Righteous says it, but that is about it. I actually get a shiver down my spine when I hear this word.
4. Leakage-think alli or those weird chips they came out with a few years ago
5. Panties-just annoys me.
6. Gesticulate-nothing gross about it, I just hate the way it sounds.
7. Moist-hurl.
8. Unkempt-just sounds wrong. Shouldn’t it be unkept? As in, not kept? I’ve hated this word since my military days when Harry Potter told someone in one of the books that they looked “unkempt”. Just a snooty way to say someone/thing looks like crap. Dang you Harry Potter!!!!
I’ll think some more on these words and get blogalicious with some more at a later date.
